As everyone should know, Esam has recently left the community and while many have different opinions about it, I cannot help but feel the same way that he does about the pika community. I have been thinking about this a lot and my last tourney made me realize that I dont want to be apart of the community as a whole anymore. Everytime i have a problem with a matchup or need some advice its always the same response, get better. I post a vid and get no critques other than you need to get better as a player in general. Then the people that are in the vids(namely radix) are called scrubs when they win tournies and beat notable people in tournies. I am also tired of FL being called a scrub state, especially after hrnut went to a huge OOS tourney and placed third after taking meep to a 5th match in losers finals(in which btw he should have won. killing himself at least 3 times. he choked, but thats tourney). fl is not a scub state and i wish everyone could understand that and believe it.

My point of this thread is to let everyone know that i will no longer be apart of the community as i once was. I am giving up all my threads except for the character matchup thread which i will keep updated. If there is a problem with the thread please feel free to PM me. Kaylo, you have my permission to give the other threads to anyone else and to clean up the OP of the matchup thread if you ever feel the need.

Alright man thats fine, Im just saying dont rage quit like this after all the contributions youve made. People appreciate it even if we do argue. I disagree with others here all the time but you cant let it get to you, we all still want to get along.

@Gallax: Tbh, some of your points were sort of invalid.

For one (this is more of a side note), Prime is right, ESAM is back.... he's toughing it out even though our boards are far from perfect, activity-wise, and I really respect him for putting aside his differences with other people and continuing to help when he can. We need it. The boards fail outside of the social thread.

As for people saying FL is a scrub state, nobody ever says that. We all acknowledge that FL has talented players..... it's far from a weak region. But compared to regions like TX and MD/VA, as a whole, it's not as good. That's all anyone's ever said.

I've seen you ask for critique in the Pika chat, and I recall that while I was there, Bear and I gave you some very good help without saying "lolgetbetter." You just have to know who to ask.... if you ever need help in a matchup or whatever, Bear, Stealth, Kenny, ESAM, and I are all pretty good about giving serious advice when asked.

Anyway, if work and school and whatnot are getting in your way as well, that's understandable. We'll miss you being around, and even though people are balls at saying this sort of thing (maybe it's a guy thing?), we appreciate all the hard work you've done around here. You've been one of the people who've contributed a lot, and the boards won't be the same without you.
