Import Project M CPU AI to Melee?

Hi internet,

I'm somewhat familiar with how to rebuild a melee ISO with texture/audio changes. However, as far as the core mechanics of how melee's code runs, I know very little. Nevertheless, I've had an idea that I'd like to get feedback on from more experienced modders. Is it possible, and would it be very difficult, to somehow export project M's cpu AI from the melee characters and place that AI behavior within melee so that melee CPU's will act like project M cpu's?

I would like to do this because I find playing Project M to be clunky and prefer playing melee, but also think that the project M AI in a melee setting would be useful to train with.

Thoughts?

20XX hack pack has AI that's good to practice combo's against, not sure how similar they are to PM AI though

Though I've never looked at the AI code, this is most likely conceptually impossible. But there are several members (myself included) who have shown interest in creating a new Melee AI from scratch. There's still a lot of other work we've had in front of us though, so the idea is far off at best.

The method for AI modding used in PM was developed by a user on KC-MM and is specific to brawl.

In a nutshell, pretty much this. Throwing Project M's CPU AI also wouldn't work since there's obviously differences among the characters, so they wouldn't play 1:1.
