Allright, im new to the forums, but i hope to get a good reply :)
Here's my story;

I'm a dutch smashplayer that recently imported brawl with the correct freeloader from a canadian website. Everything is supposed to be working but, some how it kind of doesn't.

Ive heard several stories after doing some research, but none of them helped me fixing the problem.

The problem is fairly simple. 9 out of 10 times brawl doesnt start after using the freeloader. It says it can't read the disc properly. (tried every variation of inserting brawl / freeloader / wii games / cube games(with different results))

When it actually does work, it either works in black and white (set to 50hz or get another tv works, i know) Or i get a low framerate. Sometimes the story mode plays in slow motion as well.

Another weird error is that it consistently crashes when using mario's and squirtle's B water attacks. I heard that 50 hz cant handle that.

But, as for the cant read this disc error, ive heard that it has something to do with brawl being the first dual layer dvd and the wii having problems with it due to dirty lenses? If that's the problem i guess ill have to send it back to nintendo somewhere soon.

Anyway, i hope i didnt post this in the wrong subdirectory, if i did, feel free to move it :)

Any new info or help is welcome!

I know about the 50 / 60 hz settings. The problem is, that it actually only works 1 out of 10 times. and WHEN it works, i get all the problems below.

Yea, ive read the disclaimer, and yea, ive been updating my wii.

The update isnt the cause of the errors, its basically random errors as if there is something wrong with the wii instead of the freeloader / imported brawl. since it isnt a block or anything and i still get it to work from time to time.
