So recently i tought up this scenario.

I'm Bowser, and my pathner is Kirby, the enemy is whatever and his parthner is for some reason unavailable (maybe he fll asleep to a pokemon or just died and is returning)

Lets say one of my team smashed him out of the stage far away, but he didnt die and he's recovering.

So I go, jump out fo the stage, doble jum farther, reach the enemy and fair him dead.

Now, I fortress back to stage but I don't quite make it.

BUT what if my parthner Kirby jumps out to the rescue, and fast falls below me so i can footstool jump using him, and reach the stage?

Kirby has a lot of jumps, so in teory he should be able to meteor cancel and reach the stage on hiw own without mayor problems.

Another use is simply saving your parthner from certain doom off the stage if you're Metaknight or kirby or anyone else whose recovery is good enough to not have to worry about the meteor aspect.

Of course, if you have two oponents, then you're risking edgeguarding when you return to stage with your parthner, but sometimes it may be worth it to try, I think.

Any toughts?

If friendly fire is enabled, you should, in theory, be able to do that. Doing it out of a recovery move will probably not be possible, because it's mainly a way to piss off someone when the time is appropriate--the whole stun mechanic will probably return, so it would be impossible in that case.

Even if it kills your partner, it still sounds like a lot of fun and bad a$$ points if pulled of. You could even play it off by footstool jumping off of your partner on the ground and leap at the enemies and be the super team work team or something.

Well if the footstool jump would greatly increae the horizontal distance covered, then yes, it would be a great teamwork move to go intercept people far off the stage.

If team attack is on, this might work. My thought, however, is that Footstool jumps, more than likely, count as a jump - and in your situation, you've already double-jumped - so I doubt it would be possible in that case.
