Smash Journeyman
Alright, this is a single battle team consisting of three Pokemon. Salamence has two astericks next to its name because it is not made yet, IT IS CURRENTLY JUST AN IDEA. With that said, here it is:
Salamence ** Role: Physical Sweeper
Item: Choice Band
Nature: Adamant/Naughty
Moves:
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Fire Fang/Fire Blast
-Aqua Tail/Aerial Ace
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP or 6 Sp.Atk (depends on nature)
Cresselia Role: Endurance Fighter/Special Attacker
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Moves:
-Charge Beam
-Moonlight
-Calm Mind
-Psychic
EVs: 96 HP, 252 Sp.Atk, 160 Speed
Umbreon Role: Support
Item: Sitrus Berry
Nature: Careful
Moves:
-Payback
-Taunt
-Toxic
-Wish
EVs: 252 HP, 92 Sp.Def, 164 Speed
First off, with Salamence, I wasn't sure whether to use an Adamant nature + Fire Fang to save his defenses, or Naughty + Fire Blast to make use of his also stellar Special Attack. People tell me Aqua Tail is a good choice, but I though Aerial Ace would make a nice secondary STAB, so I'm not sure which one to go for. Any input is appreciated.
Stuff I already know is wrong with my team
-It's more specially defensive than it is physically defensive (I don't think that's too much of a problem, because at least 2 of these Pokemon also have pretty good physical defense).
-2 of them are weak against Bug (specifically Scizor), but Salamence should be able to fix that.
-The fact that my Umbreon has a Sitrus Berry instead of the Leftovers. Cresselia needed them more, and the Sitrus Berry works surprisingly well, but I don't have too much confidence in it for the long run.
If I replace Cresselia, Umbreon can get the Leftovers, I can eliminate a little bit of the Bug weakness, and get someting else good to put in her place. But I'm not sure if replacing her is a good idea, because the Calm Mind+Charge Beam set-up works REALLY well. So, how should I raise my Salamence? If I should replace somebody, who, and with what? Generally, how does this team look RIGHT NOW? Those are my 3 big questions. Please critique
