Event - Apex 2015 I'M TOO LATE

I've been lurking around tournaments for quite some time. I also just discovered APEX, of course I'm too late, better luck next time! I digress.

I'm new here and new to tournaments, I live in South Baton Rouge, Louisiana and I was hoping any of you smashers in the city know about any local tournaments I could try to participate in. I am not a newbie, but I have mainly played Brawl and Project M, recently 3.0, my first mod, so if anyone knows about anything, could one be kindly enough to share such information.

TurtlexKnight, have you found your way to the Louisiana Thread? I don't recall seeing you post there, but it'd be a great place to start. I am from Baton Rouge as well, and I play those same video games you play.

Unfortunately I can't take you to Apex, but there are, I believe, two other carpools going from Louisiana. You might be able to hitch a ride and at least experience Apex.

As for local tournaments, the LA thread will provide you with all you need, and on top of that, access to the community. I'll see you there.

uhhh hit me up if you do wind up making it there and want to enter Melee. I'm probably going to sell my venue fee+melee entrance fee to someone and just grab a spectator pass because of the way pools are being done (and it's too late to get a refund)
