Bendezium Dweevil
Smash Rookie
I could have made a better title but I currently don't have the creative inspiration I need to muster one up. Also, I'm long winded, so if you don't have the patience to read this semi-biography then I won't be offended if you just say "Uh, cool, welcome or whatever" and click away.
Anyways, hi everyone! I'm Jack!!...-er, ahem, Bendezium Dweevil. I've been stalking on these forums for a good while now (I want to say a few days after the Smash Direct) and I've been burning so much time into lurking around and seeing how things are run over here. LOTS of interesting topics I'm deeply intrigued by, a Ridley-sized mountain of speculation and straw grasping... just my cup o' tea. After a few months I decided it was time to seal the deal and finally sign up.
I am a huge fan of many varieties of games, mostly Nintendo, although for a good few years I had only played 360 titles and little to no Wii. The release of Pokemon X rekindled my love for everything Nintendo and now I can't stop playing my 3DS and Wii. I am a huge fan of a ton of games, especially the Metroid and Zelda series. If you mention any game, I've probably dabbled, or even flat out enjoyed it. So I'm open to discussing anything ranging from Resident Evil to Pikmin, from Pokemon to Half-Life, and much MUCH more. Needless to say, I'm a nerd.
Now, when it comes to Smash Bros., I was absolutely flabbergasted by how deep these games truly are competitively. I am a 100% casual, and when I stumbled on these forums looking for God knows what (a certain 'leak' maybe...), I was blown away by the depth of discussion when it comes to Melee. It got me really interested in the aspects of each iteration of smash. As a self-titled newbie, I'd love to get to learn the ropes of competitive smash.
Since my introduction to the competitive world, I'm looking forward to developing my Smash competition skills with Smash for 3DS (maybe for Wii U once I get the funds to do so, as a soon to be college student, that could be awhile). In the old Smash Bros. I was always , because dude, as a kid, swords are always awesome. Melee was a bit more diverse, with me switching around from , , and , later becoming more interested in and finally now I'm a hardcore fan. Brawl gave me even more fun characters to "main", so many that I had a hard time choosing: between heavy hitters and , my old mains and, and , and even more variety with the addition of and , I eventually let my sheer obsession with Pikmin 2 overtake my decision and I picked as my main man.
So, to wrap things up, hi, I'm almost a college student and I love video games (I'm as unique as they come! /sarcasm). I'm looking forward to becoming a part of this amazing site and learning how to be a pro smasher for the future titles. Feel free to ask me anything at all, I'd love to answer anything you guys or gals want to know! Thanks for reading all of this!!
