I'm saying this for the last time (about the roster size not what you think)

The roster is 37 characters, and there are 39 movesets total. Quit forgetting to count ZSS and Sheik who are both completely seperate characters with seperate movesets. I'm sick of hearing people say it's a 35 character roster when this clearly isn't the case. No one said melee's roster was 25 because of Zelda/Sheik. If you think the roster is 35 you need to learn to count. It's not that complicated people, you complain about the roster being 35 and you don't even bother to count all the characters. That's pathetic, stereotypical whining and complaining for you, people don't even have the full picture and they're still *****ing their heads off.

lol and you really can talk... You forgot to count PT as 3 characters :)
That is because you cannot play entire matches as the individual Pokemon unless you are playing a two minute timed match (or your match takes less than two minutes).

Anyway, while I disagree with some of the topic starter's opinions of characters, I do agree that people misinterpret the number.

Also, there are not 39 unique movesets, four at the least are semi-clones.

Edit: Well, I suppose you can play an entire match longer than two minutes without changing Pokemon but they certainly won't perform as well after the stamina kicks in.

Did you not read that I said 39 movesets? This should have been a blatant hint that I didn't forget them but was merely not counting them. The PT's pokemon work together as one entity due to the switching as KOing and stamina feature. It is three different movesets, but they all make up the pokemon trainer so I didn't count them.
