Learn how to play neutral. Be patient, and wait for your opponent to do something unsafe. Read your opponent’s habits in order to improve your 50/50s.

If you are starting, I recommend playing defensively or passively and wait for openings. Learn how people generally play each character over time, learn their end lag, fall speeds, recoveries, speed so you can punish their missteps. Over time, you'll be able to get more aggressive. Lucky for you, greninja is a fast and decently strong character. You should have no problems improving with a little bit of time and effort.
