Hello there you beautiful people!
Over the last year or so, I really got into watching Melee and Project M tournaments. My friends at college and I would talk about these tournaments the way plebs talk about sportball. Soon, I started wanting to make a serious hobby out of this. So here I am.
I can play a lot of characters with enough proficiency to beat my friends, though I fully realize that I'm living in a very small pond and I'm probably bad. I need people who are good to kick my butt so I can start being good too.
In Melee, I'd call myself a Marth/Sheik main, but I plan on developing a stronger Jigglypuff. I went on a vision quest to find my power animal and it turns out that my power animal is Hungrybox.
In PM, my friends accuse me of being a Roy main, but I think my Pikachu and Ivysaur are stronger. I'm trying to get to the point with my PM Pikachu where I can wavedash out of a QAC consistently, because that sounds terrifying.
Ultra special bonus fact: I'm studying Molecular Biology and I want to get into Grad School. This occupies most of my time.
I don't suppose any of you are from the San Antonio area? I haven't found any groups here yet, but I also haven't looked around much here as of this writing. If all else fails, you guys will probably be able to see me on dolphin netplay or something.
