Smash 3DS I'm broke, and happy about it

So in Brawl, it was a very rare occasion when I didn't have 9,999 coins. They were just so easy to come by, and I never used them for anything (other than the occasional Coin Launcher).

But with Smash 3DS, between playing tons of Trophy Rush and buying lots of trophies, I've actually run out of money. I went to go do Classic on 9.0 to get more cash, and I couldn't even pay the entry fee.

The Smash team has done a super-good job this game of actually making you spend your money. I'm sure the Wii U version will be even better about this with even more trophies to unlock, as well as some more modes to spend and earn money on.

I was wondering what everyone else's thoughts on the matter were, if you've run out of money a lot, and your best money-making methods.

Have you been buying a lot of trophies? The trophies cost you quite a bit when you're going for the 600-trophy challenge.

The play-so-you-can-play-so-you-can-play strategy adds some extra addiction to the game.

My coins are always hovering around 35,000 because after a certain point I was spending them as fast as I was earning them.

Yeah, I buy every trophy the shop officers, I gamble often and I play trophy rush a lot.

I had more coins in the demo then I have now in the full version. Granted I spend it like a madman on trophies.

I've got probably 3/4 of the customs in the game (maybe more), and a lot of those came from trophy rush rounds. I'm broke again.
