Hey guys, I'm Cobbs. I'm a competitive Smash commentator. My goal as a commentator is to grow the competitive Smash scene, both players and spectators. My youtube channel is where I upload my competitive content. Link: https://www.youtube.com/CobbsGames
Recently I was thinking - there are so many great Smash players in the competitive scene, yet a lot of them don't have much in the way of good quality video footage, and thus we don't really know they exist. We may see their names on tournament results and such, but we'll only ever see footage of them playing if they go to a larger tournament or a regional that happens to be streamed.
As a commentator whose focus is on growing the competitive scene, I have a responsibility and want to open the doors for some of our awesome unheard & unseen players. So I'm going to put some of you guys and gals in the spotlight.

This is how I've figured I'll do it:
You contact me and request that I commentate some of your matches between you and someone else on your friends list - your choice. I join to host, and I'll commentate your match. I can either commentate it as if it's a tournament match - if you're an impressive competitive player others can learn from - or I can focus on helping you improve your play and noticing what you're doing right & wrong.
The same goes for whom you're facing off against -- it's a spotlight for BOTH of you, essentially!
You can comment here to make a request. I'll reply and we can talk via PM to set up a day and time to record. So keep an eye on your inbox. We'll set up a day and time, and you'll get some of your matches recorded at 60fps on youtube to be immortalized. Feel free to make a request.
