Ike QD Walljump Limit?

I've been messing around with Ike and I noticed that in videos I've watched, you can infinitely QD wall jump in yoshi's or green hill zone. However, when I try it on any wall on any map, I can only seem to be able to do it twice and the third never connects. Is it me that is making an error, or was there some kind of patch that made it that Ike can only do it twice?

Also if there is a thread on this already I apologize, I tried looking but my browser keeps stalling when I use the search bar. Thanks

You can only do it twice before you need to land on stage. You may have been watching a video from 2.1 where you could wall jump infinitely.
