Ike overpowered?

I've heard a lot of people say that Ike is overpowered, and I must say, I agree. He has two recovery moves that work in different situations. He can use Aether to get up or quick slash to move to the side. His smash moves are rediculously powerful. And on top of all that he has a fast counterwith his B down. Does anyone have any evidence or support as to why Ike ISN'T overpowered?

Oh my God. Ike has too many weaknesses to be overpowered. Ike is not overpowered. His recovery is garbage if you have any sense. Forward B is ridiculously easy to edge guard if you see it coming; just jump in front of it. He dies. Up B? Time an edge hug correctly and he's forced onto the stage or die, and you get free hits. Yay! Projectiles also **** Ike's game.

All you have to do is shield and wait for Ike's laggy *** moves. He is not overpowered. He is a decent character with some weaknesses that hold him back.

Seriously, this topic has been beaten so hard, just look in these Ike forums, I'm sure you'll find 100 other people *****ing about Ike when he's not in the least bit broken.

No projectile (or good defense against them), lots of pre and post lag on most moves, recovery doesn't work so well if your down (below) and away from the stage.
