Sorry, I was being ********. What had happened was i had used the air hammer and after the initial swing I had touched G&W's recovery trampoline and it gave the appearance of a jump during the air hammer.

Are you sure it isn't just that your jumping and hammering and jumping at the exact same time? Sometimes this has effects like this for example diddy jumping at the same time as using upb causes him to go up slightly while he is charging.

It's not a jump then immediately doing an air hammer becuase the air hammer cancels out the upwards momentum.

Is this maybe similar to the Bowser, Luigi, and Kirby "infinite jump", where their side Bs were IASA and they could cancel into a ground jump without physically touching the ground?
