Smash 3DS If you increase the difficulty, will the equipment you earn be more powerful?

Custom moves aside, I'm curious about equipment. If I were to earn a Brawn Badge from Classic Mode, does the difficulty increase how powerful the badge is?

For example, let's say I got a Brawn Badge at Level 5.0 difficulty. The badge itself gives me +25 increase in Attack. But if if were to earn that same badge in level 9.0, will it give me a lot more, like +60 increase in Attack? Or is the power of the badge completely at random?

Yeah, a higher difficulty gives better equipment, but it is still no guarantee. It's rather hard even at 9.0 Intensity to get the highest-tier equipment. Only ever got a few of those rare pieces out of my many 9.0 runs thus far.
