One complaint about Mii's is their varying sizes. Mii's are more viable under tiny size, but many feel they should be restricted only to the default size. Considering how none of the Mii's with full customization (no size and moveset restrictions) are as good as the best character in the game (Shiek), I don't feel they should be restricted to a worse size if they're forced to use only one size. There are advantages to average sized Mii's, but it's pretty unanimous that Mii's are more competitively viable characters when they're tiny. While I'm fine having both tiny and medium sized Mii's legal, there seems to be a desire to have one size be the standard. If we were to have one size become the standard, which size should that be?

A lot of people use the argument about possible delays at tournaments from people needing to create a tiny Mii, but if that became the standard, then it would be expected for every Wii U to have a tiny Mii on their system. That expectation would be similar to how it's expected for setups to have all the legal stages and characters both unlocked and purchased, so I don't see why that would be a problem in the long run.

If in-between sizes are too weird for the average player to deal with, no choice but to just have tiny or default, tiny if I'm given a choice between the two.

Tiny is always going to be dialed all the way down.

Varying sizes between would create complications and confusion in terms of what's the standard. Considering how most tournaments currently don't allow variation for Mii's in their size and tiny Mii's are unanimously viewed as the most competitively viable versions of those characters, I feel it's best we only focus on those two sizes. Also really simple how to make a tiny Mii.

I'd prefer tiny, but guest makes more sense because you don't have to make a Mii for it.

I don't use either of those sizes, so I won't vote.
Also think it's scrubby to think there's a knee-jerk response to refusing to learn matchups (that is allowing character potential to be used in tournament and learn to deal with it before bans happen). The variations aren't that big of a difference, imo. The tiniest (weight & height) can be fast, but they have almost no range of attack and anything bigger than that gets considerably slower. Takes very little time to figure this out.

Standardizing a height/weight will suffocate the meta game. Letting the potential of the character grow until the Mii users find the best height/weight is both rational and competitive, then everyone will know what to expect from a Mii fighter and no need to enforce scrubby rules.

Also, different height/weight are better for the current 3 types of Mii fighters, so lumping all three of the characters together doesn't make sense.

This is true, how was this overlooked?
What are considered the best sizes for which Mii's? I thought tiny was considered the best for all of them.

They should have default size, and then one unified moveset, whether it's 1111 or something else. If we can get that, then I think they can be used in tournament.
