If SSB was a Superhero Team, who'd be the leader?

I'm thinking of finally writing my grand fan-fic about the Super Smash Brothers, but there's one problem: every team needs a leader, somebody to give the big speech, lay out the tactics, inspire the team when all hope seems lost.

But who would it be?

I was thinking of these possibilities:
Mario: He's the most popular. This matters. The leader of the Justice League, for example, is usually Superman or Batman. In addition, Mario is family, pals or at least familiar with a large number of the SSB characters, and he's led RPG parties on several occasions. On the other side, he's, uhm, Mario, hardly the greatest tactical mind in the Multiverse and not exactly the most eloquent person to rally the troops.

Fox: Leads a team already, but he's a bit rash and trigger-happy sometimes, and leading a group of benevolent mercenaries is a bit different from leading a interuniversal team of heroes.

Ness: Because once you've led yourself and three of your teenage buddies against the Universal Cosmic Destroyer, you can probably lead anybody against anything. On the other hand, he's 13 or 14 or something.

Marth (and almost any other Fire Emblem guy): Marth is a lord and ruler. He is supposed to be leading anyway, whether it be a kingdom or an army. On the flipside, however, the SSB is very different from military units or a kingdom, and also carry weaponry that Marth may be completely and totally unfamiliar with, which could use to poor use or understanding.

Zelda: Basically like Marth, only with the Triforce of Wisdom thrown in, which I guess would make up for any unfamiliarity.

Pokemon Trainer/Red: A pokemon trainer needs to have a good strategic mind, needing to know how to counter any situation and manage during any battle. On the other hand, he's a kid.

Meta-Knight: He's Metaknight. He has leadership experience as the head of Meta-Knights. He's as charismatic as a blue puffball can be, and is a certified badass. However, his allegiances can never be truly determined...

So, who do you think? Or would it be somebody else?
