If K.Rool was going to be in. . .

He would have shown up in Donkey Kong's video. Think about it. What other starting point in S.E. could he have except for bothering Donkey Kong? Bowser's doing that, for whatever reason (Sakurai probably wrote him there since Mario was busy in Skyworld.).
And either way, Bowser does have a connection to D.K., albeit a tenuous one.
It'd be a lot harder to imagine Ganondorf appearing by kicking Lucas off of his UFO (I don't know squat about earthbound, shoot me.) or Ridley making an entrance fighting Link. K.Rool showing up to oppose anyone but D.K. is pretty much the same. Add that to his rather weak moveset potential, and his Brawl chances seem look as slim a slim gets.

Oh, and before I post this, just imagine a great, big IMO pasted all over this post. And if, by some chance K.Rool is announced, let me invite all his fans to verbally kick my ***. (Which shows how confident I am of him not showing.)

Well, K. Rool could have been the one behind all of the trouble, but I don't see why if it was him, he would send Koopas and Goombas after bananas. Why not Kremlings?
But, in the original Donkey Kong Country, K. Rool was the reason why DK had his entire banana hoard stolen. Maybe he's up to something again.
I'm not a K. Rool supporter here, but I'm just trying to explain things through logic.

Yeah. I agree. It's not like Sakurai is expanding the series with more villains. I mean, why would he use Donkey Kong's main enemy for over 10 year?

I think he still has a shot. Two mentions on Sakurai's poll, which is the same amount that Lucas got. And coming from Japanese fans it shows that K. Rool has somewhat international renown. As someone else stated, SSE seems to take circumstances of one game but have other characters deal with them. Also in my own opinion they might have K. Rool as a late game unlock and so he doesn't appear in any video segments.

However I agree his moveset is lacking for being a full blown character. Yet I'll fall back on my old argument - if Game & Watch is possible anything is possible.

P.S. I just thought about it... would make for a cool SSE battle if you had to fight Bowser and K. Rool simultaneously, double heavy reptiles. Maybe they didn't want to waste space adding DK minions but kept one of his typical problems for story reasons.

I think Dedede or K. Rool, some chubby, funny villian, could be similar in this game to Pete from KH2.

King K. Rool may ave a chance, but even if he was in Brawl I don't think he'd be versing DK, porbably Kirby or Lucas, or even Ice Climbers.

I'm thinking Wario might have that position filled.

K. Rool doesn't interest me in anyway, but it almost seems wrong not to have him in as at least a boss (like Petey). Everyone else seems to be getting a proper antagonist, so why give DK the short straw AGAIN? The guy gets very little love.

Ohhh you guys better shut the **** up about this lack of a moveset cause K.Rool has SO much potential to become the most varried character in Brawl. He has more potential of a unique moveset than Sonic had. I'm NOT gonna explain what his moveset could be like cause I did it a thousand times and I'm getting tumors from it!

People are screaming Bowser clone for NOTHING. He doesn't even look like Bowser at all... Yes they're both green heavy reptiles but that's everything. King K.Rool didn't appeared in DK's video cause well you know, this is Nintendo's most famous crossover title in like... ever? Sure picturing Bowser and DK in the same world isn't quite as farfetched as let's say... Ridley invading Hyrule but we don't even KNOW why Bowser stole the Banana Hoard in the first place so don't jump into conclustions.

K.Rool could very well end up in the SSE story fighting Ike and Pikachu who team up togheter, everything is possible in this cross over title having multiple Nintendo characters from different franchises fight each other till dead. <_< Goddaymn people be somewhat more imaginative!

I think K Rool would have an ok move set. He may just be an average fighter but it'd be nice to have him along with ridley for they can exspand the villain roster. If those 2 villains make it then I have a feeling their will be no more villians after that.

He also tries to stomp on you, he has a cannon ball gun in DKC2, can fly in DKC3, he's even a boxer in DK64.

Well now I've learned something. I like his crazy bug eyes and crown, plus he'd probably be the most muscular character in the game if I recall his build correctly. Thanks for telling me his moves I really had no idea what else he could do.
