if i compress super smash bros brawl ISO will it lose Video quality?

hi im about to compress brawl iso to single layer....but before i do i want to know will it lose its video quailty? and if it dose is there a way to prevent tht?

Compressing it should not affect the video quality in any way.

The trim option in Wiiscrubber is just to get rid of any garbage data. There are single-layer rips of the Brawl ISO out there (search yourself) which, IIRC, replace the Subspace videos files.
