If EVERY character had a stage

I was thinking that many characters have more than one stage for them, I feel everyone no matter how popular should get one. Since there is supposed to be over 40 characters then that would be a lot of stages. The more the better though in my mind.

Let's say Krystal gets in, who isn't someone I'm overly hype for but wouldn't mind. I feel a fly by stage on dinosaur planet would be amazing, those stages are the best
with updated graphics it would look great. But this also goes for new comers what stage would you want them to have and with what music?
For music I would want a stage from metroid prime 3 with rundas theme http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6nMFLquJeCc can't get any better.

I know this is just a hypothetical situation but it would be kinda disappointing if no unrepped series got at least a stage of their own.

That'd be a lot of stages, and a lot of development cost and time. Probably in their best interest to keep to about 1-3 stages per rep, depending on rep size.

For the sake of your thread though, Sauria would be the obvious choice for Krystal's stage, but what part of Sauria? Krazoa Palace? Dat music.

Falco's would be......Corneria? Fox's.....Great Fox? Wolf's........Sargasso Hideout?

Fox would get the Great Fox over Corneria, Falco could get some kind of Lylat Cruise and Wolf could get the bit of Venom where you battle Star Wolf before the final boss in SF64.

I think it's doable considering most aspects of the stages don't interact with anything at all and run on clockwork animations (consider Delfino Plaza and Sykloft.) Forty to fifty something environments is not a lot in today's gaming market and wasn't a lot when Brawl was released, though I think at the time the stage list and content was heavily limited by the scale of the SSE. As much as I love the game as it already is, I don't think there's any excuse to not start getting ballsy with the stages. Most of the stages aren't competitively viable anyway so they could benefit from more moving parts too.

But really, it's time we saw Bowser's Keep already.

I would actually love it if we had a stage in Corneria City, or when you fight star wolf on the other planet (the one with snow, forgot the name). The arctic scenery would be awesome.

Bowser's would definitely be Bowser's Castle. You know that stage that is overdue? Yeah that one :glare:

Yeah any kind of Bowser stage. I'd like to see it off the first Bowser stage in SM64, that's a style they never reused again.

I'm having a hard time thinking of a wario ware stage that isn't a blatant copy of the last one. Maybe they'll do something from wario land shake it.

It'd mean Bowser gets Bowser's Castle, so I like this idea.

Pikachu - Viridian Forest
Jigglypuff - Mt. Moon
Pokemon Trainer - Pokemon World Tournament
Mewtwo - Cerulean Cave
Lucario - Tower of Mastery

R.O.B.'s stage should be Stack-Up based - between the two games he has, that one seems to lend itself more to a balanced map. I'm really not interested in weird door/platform moving mechanics Gyromite has to offer.

I like that they've added Gerudo Valley for 3DS, presumably as a stage for Ganondorf.

If ROB's gonna get a stage of his own, it should be fighting on top of other consoles Pokefloats style.

We should keep in mind, that 3DS and Wii U versions have different stages. 3DS has the trains stage for toon link and Gerudo Valley for Ganondorf(?), while Wii U has only the Skyloft stage. The only stages confirmed to be in both games are Battlefield and the boxing ring, so if everyone gets an own stage,we are going to get
X*2 + Y amount of stages, where X is the number of playable characters and Y is the number of smash original stages and stages that won't have playable reps (battlefield, Final destination,Nintendogs stage .). At the moment we have 24 playable characters, which would mean 24*2 + battlefield + find mii + pilotwings + nintendogs = 52 stages (51 if you don't count the different versions of the boxing ring). If we had an own stage for every brawl veteran (not counting transformations) for both versions, we'd have 35*2 = 70 stages, which I don't see as realistic option. So I really doubt that this will happen, unless 3DS version and Wii U version start charing more stages or the character specific stages will be shared between games ( like 3DS gettin Toon link and Ganondorf stage, while Wii U will get Link and Zelda stages etc.).

Funnily enough, we do have a pilotwings stage on Wii U and Find the mii stage on 3DS...

I've been craving a Ganondorf themed stage since Melee, I was sadly disappointed not to see it in Brawl.
Ganon.jpg

Fighting on the platform from the Ganon battle in OOT with all of the cool lightning effects, smashing opponents into breakable debree from the what's left of the castle.

Or how about fightning at the top of Ganondorfs tower in Wind Waker... while Hyrule is being flooded with water.

Fightning on a Twilight themed stage from Twilight Princess, with weird monsters and stuff and those scary hands...

All this with amazing Ganondorf battle themes from various Zelda games.

YES PLEASE.

I agree someone that has been in since melee at least needs to be in.
That being said I feel falco should have a stage in the air and fox maybe on the ground from an assault game.

I share the opinion of Smashbros-Miiverse in that Pilotwings now falls under the Mii franchise due to Pilotwings being incorporated into the Wuhu Island thing for the Miis. So That would be considered the Mii's home stage on both systems.

Isle of the Ancients would technically be a Smash Bros original stage then. Unless we get some crazy original character I doubt this will happen.

I agree. I would hate to see unique stages based on games like Wave Race or Chibi-Robo get sidelined in order to make sure we had 4-5 Pokemon stages.

Ya I know what you mean and I'm not against that but I don't know wave race or chibi robo. Also I really hope we're not getting a Pokemon stadium 3
