Icon Theory supports 35 Char Theory

The icon theory is supported by the 35 character theory and vice versa.

The Game and Watch icon we know is coming between ice climbers and fire emblem. We also know one more icon has yet to be revealed, icon 19.

19 = R.O.B.?

Game and Watch and R.O.B. are the only franchises in the 35 character theory that dont have icons currently on the Dojo.

All signs point to the lack-of-Ridley-roster.

If you ask me, this disagrees with the 35 theory. I don't think R.O.B. would have a seperate icon... and it's in the same column as the StarFox characters. If he has a new icon, he's no Starfox ROB, meaning he's a regular enemy in SubSpace Emissary. Also why would a WTF character be in the same column as Starfox when it could be with Mr G&W?

(Not "Disproving" it as such, just providing argument and points against)

rob would probs have the DS icon as it means Nintendo hardware
I don't agree with that, it could mean Nintendo hardware, but it's quite clearly the DS logo, and as far as I know it's only been used for DS. I don't see why the NES would use it too... Even Mario and Yoshi have seperate logos, and they're more related than ROB and DS will ever be.

Ridley is in the metroid franchise which already has its icon, so how does the icon theory says that he wont be in there? I don't see how the lack of more icons says that the game can only have 35 char. Also, Isn't it possible that there is more icons after the ones we know about?

fair dos

Or, the roster is completely and utterly ****, and the Icon Theory supports the REAL roster, which we'll get sometime soon.

It doesn't support a 35 character limit.
It means there are two more franchises left to enter.

There may be more characters from the current franchises we have announced already.

For ex.

Another Mario character? Luigi
Another Earthbound character? Claus

And so on.

I don't understand the logic behind this Icon Theory. Could someone please elaborate?

It's not a theory, per say. At least, I hope not. Sounds silly!

Basically, the little emblems that are on the top-left of each update houses a number when you check its properties. And each icon is a rep. of a different Smash Universe.

So far, we have... well, whatever they have so far. And we are missing 19 and another number. That other number is def. Game and Watch, and then there's that missing universe.

Then why would a character like R.O.B. presumed to be the rep for that missing universe? Who's to say it's not...Sukapon or something. : /

That's exactly what I mean.
It just doesn't seem logical.

Most people don't even know what ROB everybody is talking about.
Talk about confusion.
It doesn't matter which one, both are debunked. The Dojo disagrees with either one, seeing as one is labeled an enemy, and if it's the other one, then we're missing an icon.

For the record, very few people that believe the 35 character/R.O.B. thing actually want it to be true. It's just that there are far to many things pointing towards it being true to dismiss the whole thing. So basically, I'm not saying R.O.B. is in so I can rub it in people's faces, if that's what it seems like. I saying it both because it I genuinely believe it and to avoid disappointment...

If everybody was afraid of disappointment, we wouldn't get very far would we?

so ROB64 is a won trophy in the coin launcher, ROBNES is a common enemy, and starfox rob means a missing slot... hmm

I fail to notice much at all that points to it being true... just a screenshot. Which could easily be fake, even Olimar's slot looks fake.

I just don't see R.O.B. happening at all. It doesn't make sense. Especially since ROBs have been all over the place in videos and screens.
