I wanted to know, which one would you want in Brawl more?

Neither. They both seemed too much of a novelty character for me to consider as a deserving brawl character.

I would prefer a character that appeared in a recently(10 year) produced game that has wide popularity among most demographics. Super Smash Brothers Melee was the first I've ever heard of Mr. Game and Watch or the Ice Climbers. Brawl should be a game for this generation.

And I know alot of people will get mad because I'm against the old school games, but that is exactly why I consider them too much of a novelty thing.

Ice Climbers. Game & Watch was too old school for the majority of SSBM players, including me. Plus, Ice Climbers are actually quality characters. G&W is just a slow, two-bit crapper with virtual complete unusability.

Seriously though, he's only as good as the players who play with him, so he can be good or bad depending on the player, like everyone else (even Pichu, seriously, he owns on the harder levels -> doesn't mean I want him in >_>). You probably haven't seen some good Game and Watch players yet.

On topic: I'd rather have them both, they are both amazin. But if I had to choose, it would be the Ice Climbers, they have more potential on a different moveset than G&W (I bet the developers had to be very creative for him as he does not much in the games). But both deserve a chance, that's for sure.

Ice Climbers. One reason would be that there are already 16+ confirmed characters, and IMO, there are already going to be a bunch more characters that they haven't mentioned (the game releases in Dec and they are doing daily updates on the game until then). So the possibility of having a "weird" or "novelty" character in the game is very high... just look at Pokemon Trainer.

Another reason is that the game makers said that they had a really hard time programming the IC's so that they would work well, and I don't think that they want to go through that again.

Mr. Game & Watch is, IMO, going the way that Mewtwo is going. Most likely not going to be in the game at all.

Besides, if the trend continues (trend being that if a certain character was in both SSB and SSBM, than it will be in Brawl i.e. Fox, Pikachu, Samus, Kirby, Yoshi, DK, Mario) than there are still a few characters that they haven't announced that probably will be int he game, like Jiggs, C.Falcon, Luigi, and Ness.

So IC and Mr. Game & Watch probably won't make the cut IMO because of those reasons.
