This might seem wried, but I play him just like I do back in melee. I do the stuff I see from good ganon players, but I always follow off stage with u airs, fair, and b airs. Just like I did back in melee. Is there something I'm missing with ganon? I'm good with the man, but I feel like I'm missing something with him. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks, but don't you guys sound liek the guys from men in black? And you're telling me it time for a fresh start with Ganon? Ok, I take that into great power in my training with Ganon.

lol i guess we kinda do but its true. Ganons old playstyle doesn't really work anymore especially if you fight more skilled people. i myself have just recenty picked him up and i had to work on something new to use him effectively.

You should focus more on his ground game rather than his air game, although if keep having air priority, then his uair is probably the best. His fair has too much lag for most match-ups.

While on the stage,

Use:

b-air
u-air
d-air
n-air

Do not use:

f-air

Resist the urge to run at your opponent and f-air them. You have to bait them into it.

I know where you're coming from. I used to main ganon in melee, but when brawl came along I lost it. Ganon seemed different, he wasnt the same lord of evil I was used to. For the longest time I just avoided using him because of the change, then I realized, I was trying to play him like in melee. I dropped everything I knew about his melee game and started over. And now I'm using him more and more often.

Side-b causes the opponent to lay on the ground. If you can predict how they will get up (most people try attack), you can hit them with a SH d-air. One of my better discoveries with Ganon.

What annoys me most about the change is his up B attack. It is much slower and does not reach as far. In Melee it was one of my main moves but in Brawl I never use it except for aerial battles. With the side B, I usually use a down smash...or evade...one of the two.
