I think Ridley is going to be a playable character because....

Well, I have a couple....no a lot of reasons why Ridley is going to be playable character...

Mostly, because:

Well known around the world and most reoccuring character (without Samus) in the Metroid Franchise.

He is a villian and Brawl needs more villians.

He has many possiblities for move set (Meta Ridley has an even larger possiblity of a unique moveset...)

He can easily be resized (Kirby is like what, 8 in. tall; and how did Pikachu get to the same size as Mario?)

He would be a good boss, but I think Mother Brain or Dark Samus deserves that personally...

Assist trophy is a no no. I think only minor characters (like the hunters from MP:H, should get in as AT)

Metroid needs more characters representing. ZSS doesn't count because she is an "effect" character​

I think those are pretty valid points...

The fact he is a Fire-Breathing, Alien, Warlord, Intelligent, Leader-of-the-space-pirates, dragon is just awesome!!!!

i totally support ridley as a PC he'd be great, and with the addition to gliding it would make him even more awesome, and if you look at it, Mario, Zelda, and Metroid are Nintendos main series, Bowsers already in Ganondorfs a gimme, but wheres Metroids representative for villian, it just will feel unbalanced without him

So Waluigi was the major recurring villain in almost every Mario game, and Ridley was totally just a filler character in sports games.

Honestly, I think Ridley is likely, about as likely as Krystal. Im not flaming, that was just such an unreasonable statement.
