I struggle with Fox lasers

I got a problem with Fox lasers. I really don't know when I can use it and I end up never using it at all. I think my gameplay can be better if I use it, but I just don't know how to use it efficiently. Do you have any advice to give me ?

Because they lack knockback, it is not usually good idea to use when the opponent is on their feet in front of you in a brawling frame of mind. Rather, use the gun to get in free damage when the opponent is recovering from lost equilibrium. Do not overuse it, and apply it in pulses rather than a steady stream. Keep moving!
