See, unlike normal humans, who need food for nourishment, I run on RMTs...
Anyways, yeah, I'm not gonna worry about EVs yet. I'll probably just go by what smogon suggests. Oh, and this is ingame, not on Netbattle, so IVs are gonna be a *****. I'm not even gonna try to get HP on any of these pokes, so if you have a suggestion for a moveslot, don't suggest any HP type.

Anyways, here we go:

Salamence @ Leftovers
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide/Aerial Ace
IDK which move to choose between Rock Slide and Aerial Ace. I know that Dragon Claw goes off of SpA, but should I keep it? I mean it gets STAB. Plus, Marriland's DDmence has DClaw. :)
This will be my lead most likely. What do you all think of me making this a CBmence instead of a DDmence?

Skarmory @ Leftovers
- Roar
- Spikes
- Rest
- Drill Peck
Just your basic Physical Wall Skarm. I've gotten suggestions of using Sub instead of Rest. What do you think? Oh, and I was thinking about putting Toxic on this thing, but then I thought against it, because I'll most likely have a Curselax and Blissey spreading paralyze, and that wouldn't work well together.

Blissey @ Leftovers
- Heal Bell
- Softboiled
- Thunderwave
- Seismic Toss
Special Wall Bliss to go with the Physical Wall Skarm. Fun, eh? Anyways, maybe I could use Ice Beam over Twave here, and put Toxic on my Skarm? I really don't know...

Suicune @ Leftovers
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Roar
- Surf
Roar helps extra if I have spikes down. No weak.

Metagross @ Choice Band
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Rock Slide
CBgross here. If I use a CBgross, I'll go with the DDmence. However, if I wanna put this Choice Band on my mence, I'll just make this poke an Agiligross. What do you think is better:
Agiligross + CBmence or CBgross + DDmence?

Snorlax @ Leftovers
- Curse
- Rest
- Body Slam
- Shadow Ball
Standard Curselax. Fun stuff.

Anyways, after looking at this team, I realized I didn't have a good enough Special Sweeper. I guess my CMcune can sweep if he sets up, but of course, that would require him to set up. So I thought of using a Starmie for Sp Sweeping and Rapid Spin

Starmie @ Leftovers
- Thunder Bolt
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Rapid Spin

But I have no idea which of my current 6 pokes I should take out to put this Starmie in.

I haven't actually made this team yet, so if you have any suggestions of different pokes I should use, that'd be welcome. However, I don't play D/P. I only have access to pokes in FR + Em.

Marriland is a n00b!!!
He also has it because its a physical move in D/P

I really cant help you.
Since I dont know much about the R/S/E metagame.

Oh, that would make much more sense... And yeah, I know Marriland isn't exactly the best at battling...

Anyways, I suppose I could go EQ, AA, Rock Slide, and DD for a DDmence...

Finally, a R/S/E team!

I say DDmence. Salamence comes in with an Intimidate, often spurring a swap. Use that free turn for a DD. Or, if you know the counter they're bringing out, swap immediately. I'm for Rock Slide over AA. Mostly for coverage reasons as AA is both stronger without a SE hit and more accurate regardless of the situation.
Skarmory is the a super common counter for this guy, making Fire Blast a viable option over Dragon Claw.
Invest EVs accordingly, but don't neglect SpAtk. Fire Blast and Dragon Claw need something to work with. Your nature should determine your EV spread. You'll want a -SpDef nature (its not surviving an Ice hit anyway).

Skarmory @ Leftovers
- Roar
- Spikes
- Rest

Ok. Just watch out for Magneton. Impish nature, max out HP EVs and the rest go to the defenses.

Blissey @ Leftovers
- Heal Bell
- Softboiled
- Thunderwave
- Seismic Toss

Half of your team has rest, and if you play right, the others shouldn't be troubled by status. Use a CMBliss instead. It will help with the SpAtk void you noted. Or, you know, use Suicune and Snorlax as Special Walls and put a sweeper-ish pokemon here instead.

Suicune @ Leftovers
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Roar
- Surf
Roar helps extra if I have spikes down. No weak.
Good luck getting a decent one of these ingame. BTW, Gyarados has a really easy time coming in on this and setting up. And...pretty much any of the omnipresent water types will just screw with this. It's not worth the effort in-game, imo.

Metagross @ Choice Band
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Rock Slide

CBgross + DDmence is fine. Not much for me to say here.

Snorlax @ Leftovers
- Curse
- Rest
- Body Slam
- Shadow Ball
Standard Curselax. Fun stuff.
Very fun stuff. Keep it in the back until late game. And you may want to consider EQ over SB. Steel types wall this set. Your only real concern without Shadow Ball is Gengar.

Anyways, after looking at this team, I realized I didn't have a good enough Special Sweeper. I guess my CMcune can sweep if he sets up, but of course, that would require him to set up. So I thought of using a Starmie for Sp Sweeping and Rapid Spin

Take out Blissey and the world becomes a happier place. Also, Spikes in the 3rd gen aren't nearly as nasty as Spikes, SR, and Toxic Spikes are in D/P. Rapid Spin should be tentative.

I haven't actually made this team yet, so if you have any suggestions of different pokes I should use, that'd be welcome. However, I don't play D/P. I only have access to pokes in FR + Em.
I hope you use Emerald cloning, it makes the whole thing a LOT easier. There is also a secret base trick you can utilize if you have two R/S/E games...but you don't =/. It makes complete EV training possible within an hour.
Getting a decent Suicune without Colosseum is pretty much impossible. So I would suggest replacing that. And Blissey doesn't work well as a Cleric on this team. So modify that as well.

Actually, I do have a friend's Emerald that I could use, so I'll go look into that Secret Base trick.

Yeah, I guess I do have enough Special Walling between Curselax and CMcune. Of course, my Suicune right now isn't great. It's not bad, but it's not great.

I was just thinking, if I don't use a Starmie for Rapid Spinning, how would a Gengar do instead?

Gengar @ Leftovers
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Punch
- Substitute
- Focus Punch

I'm not really sure which you should use as a replacement, but if those are your options, Suicune should be the one to leave.

I say this because Gengar would provide a key immunity with Blissey and Snorlax both being weak to Fighting. It also has a bit more firepower with its superior special attack stat and "mixed" attacks.

Starmie, on the other hand, could be seen as the replacement water type. Water is probably the best type of R/S/E (given it has only two weaknesses, both of which are Special). It would provide an all around good defense and excellent sweeping capabilities as well. It just depends on what you put in the last slot. Cosmic Power to wall, Light Screen/Reflect for support, Surf for a stronger STAB, lots of options there.

There's a few strategies you could pull off with Reflect, like pseudo passing to a CMBliss or your Curselax. So...I'd probably go with Starmie and modify the Blissey to the CM set.
