idk how to word this right, and feel free to correct my grammar if it doesnt make any sense, but i need help dealing with opponents who make it back to the ledge and stall there until they have a chance to come up. for example, i'd f-air them off the stage and then they would use a recovery move but they'd only be able to make it back to the ledge and hold on there until they have a chance to get back on, i want to prevent that chance. my idea was to pretty much predict whether or not they'll make it back onto the actual stage or grab the ledge, which isnt too hard to figure out and then when they grab the ledge, do the reverse needle in the air thing idk what its called exactly..but like switch the direction i'm facing and charge up my needles in mid-air then f-air them as they hanging on to the ledge, idk if this is something worth trying out or would it be a complete waste of my time..also any help would be greatly appreciated, as to how to keep an opponent off the stage after they've been knocked off but not KO'd yet..thank you

Well like you said you can edge hog via reverse needles, double vanish if you wanna show off, or just WDing back. If you roll when they're trying to recover they won't be able to grab the ledge for the duration of the roll.

You can also edge hop a nair depending on the opponent, or if you have the opportunity you can drop off and bair them or wall jump into a fair. There are many options available, just play with them and find what works.

Hope this helps

i didnt know that i wasnt sure what made them not be able to grab the ledge sometimes after i got back on stage from it, i was wondering why sometimes i would ledge dash back up and then theyd just grab right onto it.

now when i drop down off the ledge i tend to fast fall and completely screw everything up ill either miss the bair and not be able to recover completely due to how far down i am, or just fast fall and get back on to the stage but then get knocked off because of the lag sheik has when she lands her upB..i was wondering if there was a way to bair without fastfalling after hanging on the ledge, i guess just not holding down on the control stick might help, since i use the c-stick for all of my aerials pretty much..

aiight one more question..do you know how to do the vanish attack but off the stage then grab on to the ledge, ive seen people do it and ive tried, i did it once but im not sure how:confused:

u could press back instead of down, but it sounds like ur moving slow, cuz i and many other ppl drop down using down and still have more than enough time to hit and recover. Practice till u get better with it. Are u even double jumping? that could be the problem. U r suppose to drop down THEN jump and bair to hit them.

yeahh i figured that out today..i just needed to get my timing down..like i would fall down from the ledge too fast, but i started pressing back instead of down to fall like you said
