I need help owning Doc and Jigglypuff.

Ok well, my friend mains these two characters a lot and sometimes, Yoshi, but i'm not worried about Yoshi.

With Doc, I've noticed that he likes to pill camp A LOT. I just can't seem to maneuver around these pills. I always get hit by pills followed by a dash attack or a grab or something and then back to more pills being thrown at me. Even when I'm edgehogging, I get pills thrown at me. I was wondering if there's a way to avoid this and also a general way of dealing with Dr. Mario altogether.

With Jigglypuff, I get WoP'd so much -_- and also, just really good DI with his fairs and bairs. I was wondering if I can get tips on matching up with Jiggly and perhaps some strategy to it.

Plank's guide is actually really good for both of these.

Umm... for Doc you kind of want to stay moving. Duck and run under pills he pill camps or (if it's Stadium, Dreamland or Battlefield) just camp him back with needles. Your needles are by far the superior projectile if he's just pill spamming run under a platform and charge needles and toss them at him. Don't be afraid to needle camp him if he's not doing anything.

Remember that vs Doc you can punish his D-smash against your shield with WD --> grab/d-smash but shielding too much vs Doc can get you grabbed. Your grabs are gay in this matchup but so is CG.

I find spaced bairs and fairs are both really effective against Doc since he has nothing that can contest your bair and your f-tilt is also really good against him. Wd back f-tilt ***** most of what Doc does provided it's not pill-assisted (and even then it's still effective). If he's pill rushing I like to go onto platforms and needle --> aerial or needle --> d-smash. If it's full-hopped I rush under it and Nair him since the Nair eats through the pill and keeps going to hit Doc but that can be awkward to space and it can be spaced by a smart Doc so be careful.

Edgeguarding Doc isn't that hard they just like to pretend it is. If he's pilling during recovery and you're edgehogging just shino stall to preserve invincibility and nair him when he comes up (or egdehog if you don't need to nair). If he recovers high try to nair/bair him when he's coming back if this means ledgedashing off the stage into your double jump then so be it. Use your imagination. Your bair and nair will eat through the pill and still hit him if you've done it right so abuse that.

Jiggs is annoying, not really hard, the matchup is mainly a test of patience. Spam needles. Space bairs and her approaches into f-tilt. D-tilt is good if she just sits and crouches spam more needles (like, run away, jump, reverse needles, land on platform and then if she's vulnerable run after her with more needles to fair or something or run away more). DI away from her most of the time, it's usually a good plan it helps avoid being nair rested and WOPed.

D-tilt is really good because its knockback sends them closer to Sheik whereas if Jiggs DIs away from F-tilt you can't follow and have to just sit back and charge needles. D-tilt --> U-air/F-air is effective for kills, at lower %s it racks about 20% too which is nice. Be cautious with grabs, she can punish your whiffed grabs really hard and can crouch under them. Once again, more needles. Bair is ridiculous so abuse it. Nair/Bair out of shield is cool if they're into full jump Bairing and landing behind you.

I also play a pill campy Doc and I've found that staying above the pills to be effective. I can hop over the pills and hit with needles or airiels. Eventually he'll get wise and try to get you as you come down, so you have to be careful with your descent. If you're able to keep the pressure on him he won't be able to pill camp as much.

Well if it's a good Jiggs it'll be spammin sleep. So just basically needle spam, even though it's insanely boring. And wait for grab opportunities. Don't get too impatient. Socal has some good Jiggs players. :p As for Doc just abuse Sheiks gayness. Grab spam and be tilt happy.

Sounds like your being too agreesive with Doc because you keep on running into the pills, spam back with needles they will cut through the pills , also try to pick stages where he cant pill spam as good like Yoshi Story, and avoid FD. wait for him to Pill spam, learn to manuever round them and get him with a fair or wait for him to land and grab.
