So Christmas is coming. I actually enjoy giving gifts, yet totally suck at finding prices and am cheap (or as cheap as I can manage with prices these days).
I've figured out most of my gifts and found the best bargains via physical searches, as I had this weekend off work, for once.
-Winnipeg Blue Bombers season tickets (hefty hit, argh, like 250)
-The Recruit (a movie, for my best friend who is also an Al Pacino collector, 15)
Don't know what to get my brother yet, so side suggestions for him are appreciated. If it helps, he isn't into bought movies, has no interest in video games, and is in the military, spending most of this year in Halifax. Maybe something for his laptop? Argh. He's so **** bland and non-gift-receiving-y. He is into Lost, but I think he has a season or two. Dunno which he has so far. Maybe I can get my dad to espionnage the info out of him.
Gr.
Okay anyways, speaking of Lost, that'd be me mum's gift, season three. It's 87 at HMV, where I buy most electronics. But now that I have a 360, I'm less content with the idea of blowing money that could be spent on perfectly good social-life-eating games. So I need the best possible price on Lost Season Three, in Canada that is. Sadly, I'm internet ********, using that thing pretty much for school, this place, and chitchat/email.
Major stores that should carry it:
-HMV
-Wal-Mart
-London Drugs
-Sears
-CD Plus
-Best Buy
-Future Shop
There may be others. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, if that helps. Helps you find me good prices, not helps you molest me, that is.
So yeah, if you could find me a good price only I would muchly appreciate it. I have a hunch Wal-Mart will be the best buy, as I've heard commercials all week about how they've adjusted their electronic prices to reflect the all-powerful loonie (neener neener), but wal-mart.ca sucks and won't tell me prices, only when things are in stock. Well, maybe the prices can be found somewhere. Like I said, I'm internet ********.
Help me, Pool Room, you're my only hope!
(also, share xmas woes)
