Behold the miiverse post and my sorry attempt at humor.

For those who just want the stage…

Note that you need 4 turbo controllers in order for this to run passively.

How it works is that throughout the fight CD's and customs will randomly fall. They do not come from sand bags, they spawn on their own. Using this stage, all drops will be funneled into a spot with in the reach of one of the 4 fighters. When making the stage it's important that the slopes are more than 45 degrees and that the platforms are the smallest possible length (3 blocks using the grid, drawn using a line of 4 points on the grid. It doesn't matter how tall it is). I don't know how cd mechanics work, but I'd set items to high and then turn off all items to get them to appear without interference.

This needs to be tested since I lack 4 turbo controllers.

Hit HOME with either your TV or the Gamepad screen showing what you want to attach to the Miiverse post, then open Miiverse from the HOME menu. Create a new post in the community for the game you're playing (it should take you there automatically), and tap the icon in the upper right to attach a screenshot of the game you're playing.

Neat. Nice find. :)

If I might improve on the concept, you could keep the platforms small and make a wider angle with the walls to cover more of the stage. You said it yourself, 45 degrees is all that's necessary.
