A better replay feature. That is all.

I would love to record more than 3 min long matches. I would also love a sub-feature akin to Mario Kart 8's EZ-Youtube upload, I hope Sakurai improves on the potentially "confirm't" feature to the point that the replays are in a video file and not just an AI acting out the recording.

Does anyone else agree?

Pretty much, though I still feel replays should be capped at around ten minutes (or at least have a scrubbing and editing features to skip to the cool combo you saved the vid for), especially for Miiverse uploads and similar purposes.

I agree, more editing options are always a good addition.

Smash TV would be the best thing, even if limited to short clips like in Mario Kart.

Yeah it sucked that when you went past 3 minutes in Brawl the characters would start freaking out and doing weird stuff or even just stand there and do absolutely nothing at all =/

I think we could see this exclusively for the Wii U.
Fine by me! That would be amazing. I'm still impressed with MKTV and would love to see something similar in smash. I think in terms of screenshots, I think Smash has always allowed a lot of freedom with the pause screen and such. Smash is one of the most caption-able games I've ever seen.

That'd be a very nice feature to be honest, so I agree.

I want it, and I don't want it to be Wii U exclusive either. If pokemon can save natch replays then so can Smash Bros. Besides, the 3DS scene deserves just as much respect as the Wii U scene will get. We're both completely legit versions.

It should actually record the gameplay not the movements/inputs like Brawl did IMO.

Also, people modded Brawl to where it could record longer than 3 minutes of videos.

Regardless, there's no reason Smash 3DS and WiiU can't do this. It's a standard feature.

Heck, if Nintendo wasn't run by Nintendrones they'd have enabled streaming and recording possibilities for all their games on the WiiU menu (whether via Twitch or just a recording or customizable setup). But alas, Nintendo has a history of being bad with the way they treat innovative technology that gamers actually enjoy (and instead they push Wii Play, lol).

Not entirely, Nintendo doesn't seem interested in competing with Microsoft or Sony when it comes to technological advances. I do NOT want to turn this into a console war discussion. However, I have a hunch that Nintendo's "family friendly" visions may be responsible to how slow and not up-to-date with their internet features are, which is why I'm still worried that Smash 4 may still have laggy online.

It's not about console wars but "giving customers what they want." After the high viewership of the Smash Invitational and how high the viewership for Melee and Project M are on a regular basis, streaming integration would do wonders, and would make Smash streaming super accessible for everyone.

If you give Smash players streams, you increase the amount of streams.

More streams = more viewers.

More viewers = more people watching other people play smash = more people want to buy Smash = Nintendo makes more $$$.

Literally everyone wins off of that.

Add in the replay saving (like Mario Kart 8 has with YouTube), and you got nothing but recording greatness right there, and you'll have a massive amount of fan appreciation.
