I didn't hear about Quick Attack being nerfed or getting buffed. Either way, if it was the same as in Melee, then I wouldn't mind.

Well Pikachu is infamous for its long recovery but I would see no need to remove something so crucial to a character. After all, with Pikachus weight, it would seem more likely to buff its attack properties and keep its excellent air distance.

That's good because somewhere in between 64 and Melee he received a nerf to the distance and a small amount of damage. Pichus seemed better, except for the self damage of course, so it seems like Pikachu has now eaten and absorbed his sons powers. Mmm.

I heard a good thread saying that Brawl Pikachu is Melee Pichu evolved =P

From what I've seen, it's been buffed, and there's more flashy effects to go along with it.

Pikachu's quick attack was nerfed significantly from 64 to Melee because the range was decreased. Perhaps Brawl Pikachu will have some semblance to 64 Pikachu?

It's better now, and his over-B goes much farther as well. His recovery is nearly as far as some of the gliding characters, if you set it up right.

That's great, but is the movement still slower like Melee or instantaneous like in 64? Could make a world of distance.
You know, now that I think about it, I'm not sure. I'll test it out next time I get a chance to play Brawl at my university. I think I recall using it within a half-second or so of his over-B (meaning it's pretty fast), but I may be wrong. Perhaps I just recovered due to my height.

it got buffed. I played with pikachu today and i was able to do two horizontal left quick attacks in a row.

Meaning.

Up + B and then tap left twice (or something) and i did two left movements. That was hard to do in melee or i think was a glitch inorder to do so like quick attacking upwards vertically twice in a straight line

I would think, with no fast fallers, the usefullness of edge guarding with UpB and the use of it as a combo starter has greatly decreased. But with the video's I've seen, Pikachu's UpB has more versatility, is easier to control and has longer range.
