I have a question about crts with built in vhs players.

Would i be able to replace the vhs player with a wii? If so how? I can't find anything on this replacement.

I'm not 100% sure how the VHS is integrated into the TV but I'd assume you'd need decent knowledge of electrical engineering to get it to work equivalently. You might be able to just rip out the VHS player and stick your wii in, then reroute the cables out the back of the TV somehow

Well the converted DC voltages the intrernal VCR uses won't line up with what the Wii would need. Its all been divided internally after the regulator for the individual stepper motors. You could stick a Wii in there after gutting it but the power source would still have to be separate. The av inputs could be hardwired but you better make sure its shielded well enough to avoid the massive interference from the CRT. And of course you can mount the IR bar somewhere on the same panel where he VCR use to be.
