I have a problem when playing dolphin netplay @ ssbm

When I choose to play vs tournament mode , and we chose our 2 human characters, my friend is P2 and I am P1 , I mean , at dolphin netplay you are registered as P1 and your friend as P2 , but on tournament vs , when you are on the right side of the tree , you appear as P2 , so your friend has to play your character and vice verca! And you cannot swap controllers in the middle of netplay at dolphin! Any way to fix this weird bug or we just forget playing tournament , just because the game aligns left and right side to P1 and P2 ?

I'm wondering why you use tournament mode. Are you saying sometimes you'll be player one and sometimes you'll be player two?

I mean , for example , I choose DK and my friend chooses FOX but sometimes (from the randomness of the tree formation) , my DK character appears as P2 (right side of a tree branch) , so only my friend can play him and vice versa , so it is annoying!

And I use tournament mode , just for fun :D , i love it

Almost positive it is. Tournament mode sucks.
