I hate link and fox,

So I'm playing ganon out of no where I play a link and a fox and all they do is spam A so slowly that I can't move until after a while then I can dodge out. Wth, how do I stop this, they got me to 80% just spamming A WHILE I COULDNT MOVE LOL so any advice on how to avoid or maybe advice on how to do it with link lol
