Smash Journeyman
InlandEmpireSmash comes once again to bring you the tourney that our last tourney should have been… This time however, to avoid potential record snowfall which causes the entire tourney to have EXTREMELY low turnout, we have secured a date directly in the middle of the summer.
This tournament will be a regional Brawl and Melee tournament spanning across 2 days.
The schedule is as follows
Saturday August 1st:
Melee Doubles
Melee Singles
Brawl Singles Pools
Sunday August 2nd:
Brawl Singles Bracket
Brawl Doubles Bracket
Entry Fee:
Singles Events: $10 per entrant
Doubles Events: $20 per team

VENUE:
We are going to be hosting this at the EWU PUB (Pence Union Building) TV lounge
The room is GIGANTIC!!!
Start time is 11:00 AM on Saturday August 1st for Melee doubles.
Official Rules
Brawl:
-3 Stock
-8 minute timer
-Items are set to "off" and "none"
-All sets with the exception of winner's finals, loser's
finals, and the championship are best of 3 matches (best of 5 and above
should be played out for any "finals" matches)
-In the event of a dispute, controller ports will be selected by Rock-Paper-Scissors
-No player may choose a stage they have already won on in that set unless agreed upon by both players. (DSR)
-In team matches, the ports will be determined in a 1221
fashion; whoever wins the RPS will choose first, then the opposing team
will get their ports, and then the teammate of the RPS winner will get
the last port.
-If the timer runs out, the victor is determined first by stock and then by percentage.
-Metaknight's Infinite Cape glitch is banned.
-If a game ends with a suicide move (Kirby/Dedede swallow, BowserClaw, etc.) the character that initiated the move is the winner of the match.
