Does anyone else seethe potential of training amiibos and having Amiibo tournaments? And unlike normal smash tournaments, all the extra stats and equipment and moves and what have you would actually be encouraged. I can't be the only one who sees the potential hype of this.

Dude, I thought of the exact same thing. The idea has potential. Depending on the equipment and the coaching you give your Amiibo, the Amiibo may be different from other Amiibos. The only bad thing about it is that Amiibos cost $13 a piece, so running an Amiibo tourney might be a tad more expensive on both the organizer and the competitors. Plus, Amiibos of all characters are not available when the first Amiibo lineup launches to the market, making this type of tourney more conflicting since not every character has an Amiibo by release.

A type of tourney like that is more like a coaching competition than a direct competition, but it would be interesting to see regardless.

Nah, you max out the levels then all it comes down to is "who's the better character?"

That's an interesting idea! I'd max out my amiibo's level and see who wins.
It's kinda like gambling but in Smash.

As a main tournament? Nah. As something in between big games as the players get ready? I'm totally for that.
