why did they add the original, unchanged tracks of F-Zero X when they could have added the remakes of the F-Zero X Guitar Arrange Edition, which is an official piece that Nintendo themselves created?

This is not bothering me that much though...

Maybe they thought that the original tracks had the most retro appeal?

You know, maybe it was a missed opportunity. But given the amount of music in the game, perhaps it was just much easier for them to toss in the X tracks as is. Its not like the original tracks are bad or anything, most fans love them.
