Hyrule Castle Is Too Small!

This is some video of me scrubbing out against my friend. Terrible quality but all you need to see is that second KO. I'm the Roy that gets sent.

Anyways this has been bugging me ever since I started playing Project M. The ceiling and walls of this stage are so incredibly close to the ground that it destroys any chance of having fun when the stage is picked. It becomes a problem when something like in this GIF happens. Link's upB sends my a decent distance, but since the walls are so close, I get no chance to recover. Before I hardly get a magnifying glass, I'm out. Done. Stock over. Everyone I've played with (Except Jalen) agrees that the stage is too small.

Is there any way this can be alleviated? Can this stage become fun to play on?

you could open the stage file in brawlbox and modify the death boundaries to your liking.

The thread title should be probably changed to "Hyrule Castle too small" or "Hyrule too small" I was totally mislead. Lol

I've always had this problem with any version of this stage I play too. I would love it if the death boundaries felt as large as the ones in 64. And then maybe even a bit larger.

Also that gif above is amazing.

That's exactly what I want, too. When I went back to 64 after playing PM, I was very confused. The walls in the 64 version are probably the biggest in the game!

bro, on this gif you both died at like over 120%, I'ts normal that you die that quick at those percent. you probably would have died like that on any stage tbh. (except dreamland, maybe)

You obviously have never played this stage before. Any other stage and I would have been able to survive the up+B from the Link. yeah, I killed him with Roy's down air cause it launches really well, but that up+B tho. Any other stage I could'a recovered.

so, because otehr stages you survive, this stage you have to, too?

I.e all stages should be the same?

why don't you just play on one stage if you want an homogeneous experience?

So this stage isn't the same perfect size as 64? D'aw, I thought PM fixed that, at least the sizes are better than how Melee did the 64 stages.

This has been bugging me, too. Same with Fourside and Peach's Castle. I mean, if you're going to bring back a stage that'll be banned anyway, why bother changing it and pissing off people looking for nostalgia?
