Hello everyone. I figured that the original thread titled "If I Were in Charge of Super Smash Bros." was too old to continue, so I decided that a new thread was in order. This will deal with some of the actual gameplay modes that I would put in Super Smash Bros. and with how characters will operate.
Disclaimer: this thread is not about an actual game I am currently working on; it is purely conceptual.
To start the thread off, I have an idea of how to handle the 1P Game/Classic Mode, which would go under the new name of "The Tower"; similar to Kid Icarus: Uprising and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, there will be a difficulty rating ranging from 0.0 to 10.0 (with 5.0 serving as normal and the starting difficulty), and in-game coins will be spent to decrease or increase the difficulty as well as the rewards you earn in fights. There will be twelve rounds in The Tower (with a Bonus Round after every four normal rounds except for the last one), and similar to SSB and Brawl the franchises that are fought will be predetermined in a theme similar to Brawl. You can choose which franchise's characters you want to fight (like for Nintendo 3DS) and how many you want to fight (like for Wii U, but you can't choose who to fight), and the number goes from one to twelve (I'll elaborate on that one later). A mirror match is always on round ten, the Fighting Mii Team will always be fought on round eleven while Master Hand and/or Crazy Hand will always be fought on round twelve. Round ten and twelve have little twists to them after you beat your enemies the first time
