We want to thank everyone who keeps coming to our weekly tournaments. Every week seems to run better and smoother and more and more new people are coming to join us and we're excited to continue hosting tournaments in the future!

So as for the new stagelist here is how this came to be. For a long time, Hypest has wanted to use Full List Stage Striking. This is a system in which all stages are starter stages and all are struck from for game one. There have been a lot of compelling arguments made for the system and it is something we use in our 3DS ruleset and people have enjoyed it. So we wanted to extend this to Wii U.

However, we know the players entering events have been complaining about Pokemon Stadium 2 and Wuhu Island being legal and that not all players are excited to try something new. So as a compromise we have made a larger starter list and taken the two stages we see many complaints about but do not feel reasonable to ban (Skyloft and Castle Siege) and made them the counterpicks. Hopefully people are willing to try something new and experiment to have some more stage variety and a more logical ruleset.
