Hello, so I actually main Pikachu and Jigglypuff in Brawl, and I have a good perspective on how a competitive Jiggz player should play as (if there are any lol). I, however, have had no feedback on my Pikachu other than, "Thunder is cheap." lol

So I have provided some videos for you of how I play Pikachu. I appreciate any and all comments regarding my playstyle, how I can improve, what I do too frequently, etc.

Thank you very much! :)

P.S. I have some videos up of some of my Pikachu Target Smashes! They're not world record material, but I thought they were pretty cool =P

Try approaching more with jolts (and going straight into a ground attack) then QACing, QACs are easily punished if your opponent knows your going to do it, but not so much with a jolt approach. Also, it's okay to go towards falco while crouched, you even dodge his reflector.

I may not know much but do you think that the lag from bair is worth the attack if you wont hit with all of the spin things? if not that id say dont do that, not saying you did alot but nair would work better to me. just a thought

Most opponents see the jolt, but they don't see the ground attack immediately after (you will have no lag, and go straight into it) and if they do, sometimes their shield won't cover the full duration of down A and you will at least get a hit or two in.

Just work on one thing:

Do the right things at the right time.

I.E. Don't roll when you don't need to. Don't randomly Thunder.

its not bad.

you use dair way too much. Mix up your aerials with fastfalled fair and bair <- (situational). Especially because you QAC into dair - your damage and KO ability with it becomes crappy. Dair also has horrid lag at the end, and the way you punish your opponents (shield to dsmash) can easily be done to you with dair.

Nice punishes out of shield, especially dsmash (and especially online). Work on shield -> run grab; comes in handy when the opponent is too far away or is at chain-grabbing percentages.

...

and spam more thunderjolts. Full hopped.

Mmk, I've utilized more jolt approaches as well as refining aerial > ground attacks, and I must say, things are looking good :)

HAHA! I am finally getting the hang of the Brawl Pikachu!

I actually learned some stuff from watching you. You're the first person I've ever seen use quick attack aggresively instead of just as a recovery move and it works. You play very agresively and that's great. However, don't use dair so much and use thunder and thunderjolt more. They're both awesome moves.
