Thanks Tales is probably my favorite series, closely followed by Fire Emblem! And the WiiU is actually pretty cool, I have one and it's a lot better than the media would have you guess.

Symphonia is one of, if not my favorite game ever, and Zelos is totally awesome. Always good talking to fans of the series

I discovered Symphonia pretty recently (March or April 2013) through my boyfriend As soon as I started playing, I fell in love XD And I liked getting free items with Zelos! I could save up my gald for weapons haha!

Oh so you started playing it before the HD re-release that just came out? And yeah, his personal EX-skill is so much fun to use! Did you get his Gigolo title from talking to ever girl in the game?

I don't think I got his Gigolo title haha. I would love to get the HD remake but I don't have a PS3 :/ And didn't the remake offer special figurines if you pre-ordered?

If you got the collector's edition (I did) you got a figurine of Lloyd, Colette, Emil, Marta, and Tenebrae, along with other stuff.

You need a ps3 though! It has 4 localized Tales titles on it right now, and is getting another one next year!

I need a lot of consoles, I'm like a gen or two behind on everything console-wise I've got a PS2, Xbox 360, and Wii in my house... meh. I want to play more Tales titles and I'm looking at Abyss for the 3DS right now :3 (And I'd totally kill for Lloyd and Colette figurines! DX)

I need a lot of consoles, I'm like a gen or two behind on everything console-wise I've got a PS2, Xbox 360, and Wii in my house... meh. I want to play more Tales titles and I'm looking at Abyss for the 3DS right now :3 (And I'd totally kill for Lloyd and Colette figurines! DX)

Oh my, I once played Symphonia through the night until the sun came up the next morning. And I do believe that was like my second playthrough, haha. But yeah, that was on the Gamecube. Since then I've played Tales of Symphonia 2, Tales of Graces (which is my second fave Tales after Symphonia) and currently playing Tales of Xillia, which is taking me longer to get through since I'm not smitten by the characters yet. You should def play Graces though; 100% recommended.

I'm curious, how many characters are in your party? Xillia has two of my favorite Tales characters in it The third and fourth person to join your party to be specific.

Right now it's Jude, Milla, Alvin and Elly. It's not that I don't like them, I just think Symphonia set the bar high for character development. Jude reminds me a little too much of Emil sometimes (god, I couldn't stand Emil unless he was in Ratatosk-mode). I probably just have to make it farther into the game to get more attached.

Oh yeah, Elize and Alvin have some very deep backstory and development later on that should get you very interested in them. The next character you get is also pretty cool. Kind of a troll character, but he's cool. Has some decent back story as well. Jude and the last person you get are definitely the weak characters in my opinion.
