What's up everyone, my name is Alex, my ign tag for most games I play is keebler, which is a high school nickname I got from a bunch of buddies that I played football and basketball with, because I'm a small dude. I've kinda been hovering on the outskirts of the Smash community for a while now, I knew about the community years and years ago, but was not particularly interested in getting involved. Then I saw KoC 4 (I think it was 4), this last winter, and I started watching streams if I saw them on Twitch. I just recently saw the Smash Brothers documentary, which was fantastic, and I decided that I wanted to get a little more involved in the Smash community.
I've always loved Melee, and it has always held a very special place in my heart, as it was one of the games that I played with my brother when I was a kid, and I've revisited it many times over the past few years, and even more so recently. I've never been good in the "professional" sense (I can't play that fast, and I'm not that quick on the controller... yet).
I'm a College student currently at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and will be in SA until May 9th. Once the summer begins I'll be back in the Houston area, which is where I'm based out of. I'd love to get together with some Houston/Woodlands smashers and get absolutely destroyed a few times if anyone is ever interested. I'm hoping to post around a little bit and maybe I'll see some of you guys at some events down here in Southern Texas.
