*Ahem* Um, hi everyone. I'm a veteran Smash Player (nowhere as competitive Melee / Project M, mind you, but maybe I'm doubting myself), however, am new here. I normally go by Riuvee, or simply Riu.
I stick to Smash 4 (both systems), primarily maining Lucario for his aura-based style and recovery mobility - making use of Tilts and Specials. I also try to adapt to more of the cast, though for the most part, I'm more likely to play as Captain Falcon, DK, Ness, Luigi, Falco, Ness, Lucina, and Pac-Man. I plan on maining Ryu as soon as possible...... oooooonce I buy an eShop card... I can wait.
My reason of joining Smashboards is to see if I can bring myself out there and eventually be recognized by others - to be part of a community of a series I love, making the time to talk with fellow Smashers and maybe even see how further I can push the potential of my mains and my general play style. I would've joined much earlier, though the thing is, I'm normally really shy... Maybe I'll be stronger as a person if I hang out more...who knows. Just know that I can be open-minded and a friendly fellow to be with.
I once attended two Brawl tourneys at a local game store that soon went out of business in my city, lost to a Meta Knight (go figure). Unless one is held close by in my city, I won't attend any. Though I really would, even if just for being there to watch. It'd be a Win-Win.
My hobbies used to be animating random things, but then life hit me and I'm currently looking for a job. I've had no luck, whatsoever. Either way, it usually cuts into my time and I stop thinking about animating or drawing. I'm a Nintendo / PC gamer, who usually enjoy games like Mario Kart 8 and occasionally games via Steam.
With all that said, hello again to everyone. Hopefully someday, I'll have the time to enjoy a good ol' foight with some while my journey into the somewhat unknown becomes a good one.
