I have always been a huge fan of the IC's Up-Smash, but once I actually managed to have nana turn around before both IC's Up-Smashed and when I hit the enemy, it was like a crab claw clamping on them and it was crazy strong. I was looking to see if anyone else had ever looked into this and a few quick ways to desynch this?

quick way? umm pivot an up smash and then really quickly smash with nana? I dont think there is a fast way, I also dont see it being any stronger.

lol, reminds me of what i do when a Jigs misses a rest on me. I charge up a fsmash on nana , and then get to the other side of jigs and charge up a fsmash towards her. If you time it right, you will have nana's smash hit into yours. It's BRUTAL.

My first assumption was basically what Binx said; pivot a u-smash (using the analog stick), and maybe Popo will u-smash but Nana will jump-cancel into a u-smash in the other direction. But... just tried it out, and it doesn't work. Nana finds some way to turn around before charging her smash.

Ever heard of the double-directional d-smash? It works with the u-smash also. Wavedash, then do a u-smash but tilt your controller in the direction that you wavedashed a little. Popo will turn around and smash, but Nana will face the same direction.

Anyway, I doubt it was actually stronger than a normal smash. It only extends the range a bit.

Ok well to start thanks guys, and overall this is more style points than anything. As Zjinn explained hitting someone with this is brutal and I love people's reactions.

Umm Kyu could you explain the tilt my controller a little better cuz lol last I checked tilting a controller doesnt do anything unless its a wiimote

My bad, meant the the c-stick.

First wavedash, then quickly turn around and u-smash immediately. C-sticking it is much easier to do than the using the control stick, but charging it up somewhat makes it look infinitely cooler.
