How will the Final Smash be used?

Not sure if this has been discussed already..but since the Gamecube controller is being made available for use, we dont have any extra buttons..how will the Final smash be performed?
The only suggestion I can think of is..maybe after you get the smash ball, you have a certain amount of time (10 seconds, maybe?) before it activates, and does so wherever you are standing.
Or they could implement some kind of fancy Street Fighter shoryu-ken control stick movements
Any ideas?

I bet it depends on the character. Like Bowser's is probably automatic, but perhaps for Mario you have to throw out a fire ball to make it happen.

10 seconds is a bit much, but yeah, I thought they might give you a few seconds to get into position before it fires. That, or you press A or B to unleash it.

Well Sakurai said that they are "secret" moves performed after obtaining a smash ball, so maybe you have to input a command.

L and R both shield, right? Why not just make R shield and L FINAL SMAAAASH.
Either that or it takes the place of your B attack.

I imagined it being obtainable, then you could use it when you pressed B, possibly just regular B.
