The only reason i even bought 2 amiibo is so i could play with mine against my fiance and hers. But i cant figure out how, is it even possible? If not the amiibo are worthless to me. Need to figure out before i waste any more money on those things.

How to use Amiibo in local play? 3DS

Additionally, the only 3DS with amiibo functionality is the New 3DS model that came out this past month. If you own any other 3DS system it will not work. If you do have a New 3DS then head to the Games and More option of the menu and you will see the amiibo menu option.
