how to train using "accurate" lemons on jumps

i'm trying to amp up my lemon game by stunning my opponent in midair. i've noticed i've been able to punish my opponents, cuz of lemons interrupting their smash attacks, or interrupting their jumps. the only problem is that i have a wii pad controller, so the buttons and the input is a bit wonky
